1) Terms of Use
Our Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our websites, social platforms, and related services (the "Sites"), including content, tools, features, and community spaces. By accessing or using the Sites, you agree to the Terms of Use.
Important notice: The Terms of Use include binding arbitration and a class action waiver (see "Disputes & Arbitration").

  • Ministry purpose / no professional advice: We are a Christian ministry platform and do not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, nutritional, or other professional advice.
  • Eligibility: Our Sites are intended for adults age 18+; if you are under 18 you must have parent/guardian permission and supervision.
  • Children: Our Sites are not directed to children under 13.
  • Geographic scope: We operate from Missouri (U.S.). If you access the Sites from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local law.

Retention & deletion
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for ministry operations, legal, and accounting requirements, and then securely delete it. Examples of internal retention practices include keeping donor and financial records for up to 7 years and volunteer records for the service term plus 3 years, unless law requires a different period.
Incident response
If a security incident occurs, we take steps to contain it (for example, revoking access and resetting credentials), assess scope and impact, document actions taken, and determine whether notifications are required.

4) Community Guidelines (House Rules)
To keep HerFaithVillage safe, faith-building, and supportive, participation in our community spaces must follow our House Rules / Rules of Conduct.
Highlights
  • Be respectful. No harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, or intimidation.
  • No commercial solicitation (selling, affiliate links, fundraising, recruiting) without written permission.
  • Protect privacy. Do not share private group content outside the community.
  • No explicit sexual content or pornography.
  • Respect intellectual property. Post only what you own or have permission to use.
We may remove content, restrict participation, or suspend accounts for violations or other conduct that undermines community safety and ministry objectives.

5) Terms for Writers, Editors, & Volunteers
If you serve with us as a writer, editor, managing editor, channel host, or volunteer contributor, your participation is governed by the Terms for Writers, Editors, and Volunteers and by our Site Policies (including our Statement of Faith, House Rules, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy).
Key points
  • Volunteers must follow content standards consistent with ministry beliefs and community safety expectations. We may remove content at our discretion.
  • Submissions must be original or properly licensed. Plagiarism may result in removal and termination of volunteer privileges.
  • Publishing cadence, review cycles, and revision timelines vary by assignment; contributors are expected to communicate proactively and meet agreed deadlines.

6) Payments, Donations, Refunds & Chargebacks (Stripe)
We may offer donations and, at times, paid offerings such as products, event tickets, registrations, or subscriptions, processed through third-party providers (for example, Stripe).
Donations vs. purchases
  • Donations are generally final and non-refundable unless required by law; requests may be reviewed case-by-case.
  • If a payment fails or is reversed, access to paid offerings may be suspended or revoked. Chargebacks may also result in access suspension while disputes are pending.
7) Disputes & Arbitration; Governing Law
Where permitted by law, disputes are handled through individual binding arbitration (with limited exceptions). Class actions are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Terms of Use are governed by Missouri law. When court proceedings are permitted, venue is in Missouri unless law requires otherwise.
