How did the ministry begin?

HerFaithVillage.com Ministries began in 1998 under a different name. For many years, God allowed the ministry to grow, reach women and youth, and build a strong online presence. But in time, another organization began using our former name in ways that did not reflect Christ or the values we uphold. Because we did not want to be associated with that organization in any way, we made the difficult decision to release our original name.

It was a painful season. We grieved the loss of our identity and wondered if the ministry could ever be rebuilt. We had no idea what to rebrand as or how a new name might affect the work God had entrusted to us.

But the Lord was faithful.

Through prayer, godly counsel, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God gave us a new name and a renewed vision. In 2019, we relaunched and rebranded as HerFaithVillage.com Ministries—a name that reflects community, discipleship, and the heart of our mission.

What felt impossible became a testimony of God’s power and provision. He rebuilt the ministry with a stronger foundation, a clearer calling, and a fresh commitment to serve women and youth with excellence and biblical truth.

What does this ministry actually do?

We share the Gospel, teach God’s Word, and walk alongside women and youth as they learn who Jesus is and who they are in Him. Our ministry provides biblical encouragement, practical tools, online resources, Bible studies, events, and real‑life support. We help women grow spiritually, apply Scripture to daily life, and live out their faith with confidence, clarity, and joy.

No church membership is required. Anyone is welcome to participate in our online community, attend events, engage with our resources, or submit content. Only those serving in ministry leadership roles must be members of our ministry.

No. We are not connected to any church, denomination, or outside organization. We are a nondenominational Christian ministry committed to teaching the Bible and following Jesus Christ.

How Is the Ministry Funded?

HerFaithVillage.com Ministries is sustained through the faithful generosity of those who believe in the work God has called us to do. Our founder, Shelle Frelo, provides the primary financial support, sowing into the ministry with both resources and countless hours of service.

In addition, our ministry is strengthened by the giving of family, longtime supporters, friends, and donors who partner with us in discipleship, outreach, and teaching. Every contribution—large or small—helps us create biblical resources, maintain our online ministry presence, and continue serving women and youth with excellence and compassion.

She donates every service as an act of ministry, offering her professional skills to the Lord and to the women and youth we serve.
