REAL TALK Moment: šGod’s Plan for your life is not rocket science. He just wants you to spend eternity with Him.  And how do you put that plan into motion well that’s simple too. You simply believe Jesus died in your place, for your sins. That means all the stuff you’ve done that you weren’t supposed to, all the stuff that you’ve done to hurt other people, all the evil things you’ve thought about, and all the stuff that no one knows about but you and God.

š“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” – John 3:16 (NIV)

So you’re saying alright, I get it, I’m going to hell, now what…

Jesus not only died for your sins but on the 3rd day, He rose again by the power of God to live and be your high priest. I know this sounds crazy but it’s true, you must believe this to have eternal life. If you believe on Him (Jesus) as your crucified, buried, and risen Savior, you receive forgiveness for all of your sins and His gift of eternal salvation by faith is yours free and clear.

Do you know where you will go when you die? There is only one way to ensure that we will live our eternity with our Creator. . .

REAL TALK Moment: Sometimes we feel that our lives belong to ourselves, our kids, the man in our life, work, etc. But it doesn’t, Jesus paid for each human beings life with His own. And because of this debt that was paid all human beings are eligible to receive Salvation. We only need to

Hell is a real place and you need to know that we all are headed that there unless we get right with God.

š“We are made right in God’s sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.”      -Romans 3:22

š“ . . . it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

Listen, God does love you. No matter what life,  people, and situations have led you to believe. He loves you enough that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place.  “ . . . He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin] to be sin for us . . . that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

šREAL TALK Moment: Ok, what you’ve done up until this point landed you in the situations that have troubled your life. So it is obvious that you are not capable of saving yourself. If you were you wouldn’t need Jesus.

šREAL TALK Moment: You could find a million reasons why you shouldn’t come to God through Jesus His Son… But you only need to believe in one reason why you should:

šYour Sin.

šYou must believe that you are a sinner and that you need Jesus Christ in your life to make your life better.  Savior is Jesus Christ. See, because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death.

“For the wages [payment] of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).

This means eternal separation from God in Hell.

šREAL TALK Moment: Now you know the truth… You can dismiss it as a bunch of crap. But it doesn’t change that the truth.  Do not trust your feelings! They change. Stand on God’s promises and His Truth. They never change. šNow its all up to you. Are you ready to handle the eternal consequences of your choice?  If you choose to accept the truth there is only one thing left for you to do… Ask Jesus Christ Into Your Life.  How do you ask Jesus into your life? You ask through prayer. Now don’t worry if you feel that you: can’t pray; not any good at it; never prayed before; or don’t know how, prayer is just a conversation between you and God. You can ask God into your heart by simply talking to him. And the great thing is you can talk to Him whenever, wherever, or however you want and He will listen.

“Lord Jesus, I need you. I have sinned against you. I repent of those sins and ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and that you rose again on the 3rd day. I believe that you are fully man and fully God. I believe as God you came to earth as a man God’s Son to die for my sins. I ask that you would come into my life as my Savior.-AMEN

Now that you have God in your life you need to know the key  basics.

• You need to Pray/talk to God consistently. Asking for His opinion, His guidance, His Will, His help, His understanding, and wisdom.
• Read your Bible. It is the Living Word of God. The Bible has a lot to offer, its where we go to learn about our Christian history. We find out how to please God and who He is. We learn about His Son Jesus and what He’s done just for all mankind. And the Bible is where we go for guidance and to hear God speak to us. Read your Bible as often as possible. Measure everything about right and wrong by it. There are many biblical resources online as well j4us.com, biblegateway.com, gotquestions.com, openbible.info to just name a few. Each of these offers a different kind of Christian resource.
• Get into a Bible based church. When I say Bible based that means that the church believes and preaches all 66 books of the Bible. They believe in the Gospel as expressed in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and John 3:16. Remember the church is made up of imperfect people so don’t put your faith in them keep your faith in the perfect Jesus. Just expect accountability in love for sin.
• Find a way to fellowship/hangout with other Believers/Christians. This is important because when you start to associate with God’s people you grow, you have a chance to help, you find strength. Don’t isolate yourself because of Christians behaving badly as with everything you have those that take their walk with Christ seriously and those who don’t. You must decide what kind of Christian/Christ follower you will be. Jesus calls all of His people to behave as He did.
• And lastly continue to grow. When you first become a Christian you are a baby but the longer you are with Christ you should be growing, like a child grows into an adult and eventually into an elderly adult. We do this by consciously living to please God.
